In early July we opened our ‘Carrij Ferdinandus Memorial Garden’, a quiet place for all of us to take a seat, have a well-earned break and take a moment to reflect.
Carrij joined us in November 2010 and quickly became a valued member of our team. He had a tremendously positive spirit and attitude to life from the start, which was matched by his passion and enthusiasm for his work.
As our lead service engineer Carrij trained many of our engineers over the years and enjoyed sharing the knowledge he’d acquired.
Carrij had loved to travel during his lifetime and during his time with us travelled to many of our sites around the UK. He especially loved his visits to the West Coast of Scotland and made many good friendships along his way.
He is missed a great deal and we were especially pleased and thankful that his wife Pamela was able to officially open the memorial garden on the 6th of July.
Carrij will be remembered with huge affection by all that knew him.
